GOD GIVE US CLEVELAND, TN.

I am spending the next month and ahalf in Cleveland, TN working with churches to teach their community Bible truth. Besides our two directors there are 12 others that make the team. We study, work, and relax together. This is an "official" board meeting in the parking lot.

I am extremely enjoying a Peruvian restaurant here... someday I will need to travel there.

Daniel and I practicing our duties as cameramen for the series of meetings.

This is on top of Signal Mountain - a point used during the Civil War to relay messages up and down the river between GA and TN.

We are "hanging" off of Signal Mountain. (This is a Paeter look-alike)

Despite the fun we have had, we still remain here for one purpose - God, for your glory, give us Cleveland, TN.

Hope you enjoy my country -- the good ole south! There's just nothing like Appalachia in the fall. I'm praying for you guys! (even though you didn't say Bye) I know God will bless!

Katy - Thanks for praying. "Bye"
NNFF - That Board Meeting ended in a night of chasing each other around town and then Cracker Barrel.
Staci - Yes it is quite the view - continue praying. We have already been blessed with some "miracle" stories.
Paeter - We didn't have very much to stand on... it made my head swirl a little. Thanks for the inspiration to dig in and hold on.

Loved the blog Smike! And loved the aerial view of Machu Picchu, when you get done with all that required reading and have finished "A Severe Mercy" you should read "Three Weeks With My Brother", it has some great descriptions of Machu Picchu. Hmmm this is starting to sound like Dina's reading list!

Ya know Micheal...I have tried to resist leaving a comment on this one because...well..because it's Tennessee you're talkin about. But everytime I check your blog, the temptation keeps staring me in the face.
So, here goes: I don't know if you had a choice in the matter, but I think you all should have gone to Maine instead. Maine is much more enjoyable and beautiful and...(the list goes on) then plain ol Tennessee. You can tell Kyle I said so :)

Kim... Somebody right here in TN was telling me about how they used to live in Maine and how beautiful it is... and how I must visit - I agree. I will pass your affectionate comments on to Kyle.

Elizabeth - thank you for the prayers. Some powerful stories are coming out of this. Thanks for starting the motorcycle.

there are no words to express the sheer majesty and beauty of TN...and not to mention the genuine hospitatily and cordiatilty and spirituality that characterizes the beautiful South. Why would anyone ever go anywhere else for field school?

I agree with Kim. Come visit us in the far Northeast sometime (rather than simply Pennsylvania) when I get back from Field School. Peace, brother.

I enjoyed "petting" your motorcycle...I think he likes me actually! He was purring like a big red kitten! LOL It was no problemo...just helping a brotha out!
Amen to Davy Crockett!! There is no hospitality like southern hospitality...I have plenty of southerners in my family!! They'll love ya til you turn blue!! And oh those beatiful rolling hills! So peaceful...the atmosphere almost seems untouched by the pollutants that we are surrounded by here & in other cities...but there is work to be done everywhere!! I'm glad ya'll are there spreading that Love that warms the heart!
