HI, MY NAME IS MICHEAL
I was 23 yrs. old sitting in my upstairs office when I found out my name was Micheal... instead of Michael.  A very perceptive friend of mine after seeing my birth certificate made that discovery.  Upon inquiry my father informed me that he had done that so I would "be different." Incase you are wondering about my ability to notice... all my other I.D. is spelled "normal."(kudos to Shawn for being perceptive and speaking out about it)
Since this is an introduction I shall continue. I completed my first Sudoku puzzle this week on a flight from Chicago to Harrisburg. (applause) I enjoy being amazed...
...amazed at things like- the picture above is the same beach where people are in swimsuits some days, but on this day with sweater and coat I couldn't handle it 10 minutes.
A 100 times more amazing than that to me is that according to Psalms 90, God chooses to declare His faithfulness in the sky... to think that sometimes I worry.
This is what you do for yourself when you need to feel special while having to stay at a motel.

I'LL GO WHERE YOU WANT ME TO GO

I spent 3 days in Philadelphia this week meeting with a church.  This morning I accepted the invitation to join them as pastor ministering with them to the community of northern Philadelphia.

My first Sabbath in the Bucks County Seventh-day Adventist church will be February 9.

COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY ALONE
Since finishing my master's degree in the second week of December I have attended a conference in Minnesota, slid my way across Wisconsin, eaten in Illinois, drank water in Missouri, had Christmas in Kansas, waved at people in Indiana, and welcomed the new year in Michigan. So this week I attended a conference somewhere (I wasn't the driver) in Michigan and I took a walk... where I was completely and utterly alone.

Sunday I fly to Philadephia to interview with a church. A million questions are going "pop goes the weasel" in my mind. Do they...? Do I...? Will we...? Why? When will...? If I...? Could they...? How is...? Who is...? Will Jesus...? What...?

But, the life I have been given is all about people... so I choose to walk over the bridge of a million unanswered questions.
